FFF Racing Team by ACM’s championship challenging #19 Lamborghini set fastest time of the weekend in the third and final practice session at Shanghai this morning ahead of Blancpain GT Series Asia qualifying later today.
Dennis Lind, who along with co-driver Martin Kodric lies eight points behind Patric Niederhauser, set a best of 2m05.627s to lead JR-M’s Porsche by 0.486s. The Chinese entry shared by Li Chao and Chris van der Drift was fastest of the Pro/Am contingent after beating FFF’s second Lamborghini by 0.4s.
HubAuto Corsa’s two Ferraris finished fourth and sixth after sandwiching Absolute Racing’s #3 Audi, which was once again the leading R8 LMS GT3, while Alessio Picariello slotted into seventh at a circuit where he claimed outright Pro pole position 12 month ago. Edoardo Liberati and Florian Strauss completed the top-eight aboard their KCMG Nissan.
In GT4 it was again BMW Team Studie’s #81 M4 that led the class after lapping 0.452s faster than Team iRace.Win’s Mercedes-AMG and its #81 stablemate.
