Reigning Thai Super Series champion Akash Nandy will be part of B-Quik Absolute Racing’s two-car entry at the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS season finale in Sepang next weekend.
The Malaysian joins fellow Silver-graded driver Eshan Pieris in the team’s #25 Audi, while Henk Kiks forms an all-Bronze crew with championship debutant Adisak Tangphuncharoen aboard #26.
All four drivers currently represent B-Quik in TSS, albeit in different combinations to those competing next weekend.
They also mark a change from B-Quik’s last Fanatec GT Asia outing on home soil at Chang International Circuit in May when Kiks shared an R8 with Pieris. The Sri Lankan impressed many with his speed and should be near the front again at a circuit he knows well.
Nandy won the TSS GT3 crown as a rookie last season and remains in 2023 title contention with his domestic co-driver Tangphuncharoen thanks to two strong results at Sepang two weeks ago.
Kiks, meanwhile, is no stranger to Sepang after racing there for the past decade. He’s warming up for the event by contesting the Singapore Grand Prix’s GT support race with B-Quik Absolute this weekend.
