> ROWE to be lubricant partner for continental series in Europe, Asia and America
> German company expands on existing partnership with SRO Motorsports Group
> ROWE Pole Award to be presented to overall pole-sitter in each qualifying session
SRO Motorsports Group is delighted to confirm a new three-year agreement with ROWE Motor Oil which will see the globally respected German company become official lubricant partner to Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS.
Beginning in 2024, ROWE with its industry-leading lubricants will be the official lubricant partner for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS series in Europe, Asia, and the United States. It will also lend its support to the ROWE Pole Award, which will be presented to the overall pole-sitter at the conclusion of each qualifying session.
This agreement builds on an existing partnership in the United States, which has encompassed both lubricant partnership and the ROWE Pole Award in Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS throughout the 2023 season.
Founded in 1995, ROWE has quickly expanded from a single workshop into a globally operating company whose products are offered in 80 countries. Despite its growth the company remains family-owned, led by its founder Michael Zehe and his daughter, Dr. Alexandra Kohlmann.
It also enjoys a direct link with GT competition thanks to ROWE Racing. The German team is among the most successful in the sport and has shown particularly well at endurance events. Its notable achievements include overall wins at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa in 2016, 2020 and 2023, as well as at the 24h Nürburgring in 2020.
With their shared focus on performance and efficiency, SRO and ROWE are set to embark on a mutually beneficial collaboration during the years to come.
Stephane Ratel, SRO Motorsports Group Founder & CEO: "We are pleased to announce that our relationship with ROWE will grow considerably in 2024. The role of official lubricant is crucially important, so it is essential to work with an established and respected partner. We know the quality of ROWE products and the name has been present in our championships for more than a decade, further demonstrating the brand’s commitment to motor racing. I very much look forward to a successful working relationship."
Dr. Alexandra Kohlmann, Managing Director of ROWE: “Since the company was founded ROWE has always been characterized by a deep conviction to act sustainably. For example, all products in our range are 100 percent CO2 compensated. One of our goals is to drive sustainability forward in motorsports, too. With SRO Motorsports Group and the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS, we have partners at our side who are pursuing this path with great commitment together with us.”
