> Entry list: Macau FIA GT World Cup
Reigning Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia champions MG Choi and Absolute Racing are heading to Macau on November 14-17 for this year’s FIA GT World Cup.
Choi’s Solite Indigo Racing Mercedes-AMG and Absolute’s two Porsches join 14 other entries on a grid packed with global stars, as well as several more teams and drivers familiar to Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia fans.
Audi Sport Team Asia TSRT and David Chen make their Macau debuts, while Craft-Bamboo return with two factory-supported Mercedes-AMGs driven by Alessio Picariello and 10-time Macau winner Edoardo Mortara.
Absolute Racing’s Porsches feature Alex Imperatori – a Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia race winner this year – as well as reigning Total 24 Hours of Spa winner Kevin Estre.
There’s also manufacturer support for 2017 Asia champions GruppeM, who now compete in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with Raffaele Marciello and Maro Engel. Both also feature at Macau.
Elsewhere, Zun Motorsport Crew – who made their Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia debut at Shanghai last month – enter a private Mercedes-AMG for Adderley Fong.
Practice and qualifying take place on Thursday and Friday before Saturday’s 12-lap Qualification Race begins at 13:05. That’s followed on Sunday by the 18-lap main event, which starts at 12:25 local time.
