SRO Motorsports Group will add new depth to its global coverage this season by launching The Pitlane, a behind-the-scenes podcast that includes exclusive interviews and special features from the world of GT racing.

Longstanding SRO commentator David Addison will take the controls for the fortnightly series, which launches today (Thursday 28 May) on major podcast providers such as iTunes, Spotify, Podbean and Google. Fans can also tune in via the SRO website to stay up to speed with events on and off the circuit.

Among its regular segments, The Pitlane will include interviews with major players from the sport, deep dives into SRO's regional activities across the globe, and conversations with some of GT racing's lesser-known personalities.

David will put his expert knowledge to good use by providing technical insight, while the burgeoning world of virtual racing will also form part of the discussion. What's more, each episode is set to feature a heated debate on the merits of two classic cars from SRO's extensive back catalogue of GT machinery.

The opening programme begins with a special appearance by Stephane Ratel, SRO Motorsports Group Founder and CEO, who explains some of the challenges that arose when redrawing the 2020 calendar. David is then joined by multiple GT champion Andrea Caldarelli to discuss his rise up the ranks to become Lamborghini's leading man and how he balances driving with running a team.

The episode also features McLaren factory ace Ben Barnicoat, who leads the SRO E-Sport GT Series Pro standings after three events. GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS comes under the regional spotlight, while the iconic machines up for discussion are McLaren's F1 GTR and the Porsche 911 GT2.

With all of this on offer and much more to follow, listeners will get the inside track on GT racing across the globe. As the official SRO Motorsports Group podcast, The Pitlane will provide unparalleled access to the people, the cars and the stories behind the sport.
