> Japanese squad also confirms new 911 GT3 R Evos

Porsche Center Okazaki has named an unchanged line-up for the 2026 GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS campaign.

Hiroaki Nagai is joined in the #18 entry by Kazuto Kotaka, while the #25 911 GT3 R will be shared by Kiyoshi Uchiyama and Tsubasa Kondo.

Both Porsches will compete in Evo spec, which makes its global SRO debut this year.

Nagai maintains his record of competing at least once in every GT World Challenge season. The first two appearances came at Suzuka and Fuji in 2017 before expanding his programme with ARN, which continues to run the cars under a Porsche Center Okazaki banner, the following year. He has been a mainstay of the series since racing resumed post-covid in 2022.

Kotaka, meanwhile, joins the team full time next season after racing alongside Nagai at Mandalika and Fuji earlier this year. The former Super Formula Lights champion’s 2025 campaign also featured Super Formula and both classes of Super GT, as well as a CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa outing in Europe.

The sister machine features a partnership entering its fourth GT World Challenge Asia season together. Uchiyama and Kondo debuted the first 992 iteration in 2022 and will now be amongst the first to get their hands on the Evo version, which is again expected to feature the recognisable turquoise livery.

Sepang hosts the first two of 2026’s 12 60-minute GT World Challenge Asia races on April 4-5.
