TEAM 5ZIGEN returns to the GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS grid this season with an all-Silver lineup headlined by Super GT star Atsushi Miyake.
The series regulars first joined the grid in 2023 and have gone on to win three races overall, while its previous driver combinations twice finished as Silver-Am’s runners-up.
A new challenge presents itself this year, however, when Super GT500 and Super Formula racer Miyake joins forces with Super GT rival Takayuki Aoki. Both make their GT World Asia debuts after previously contesting the Suzuka 1000km for different teams.
Mandalika’s clash with Super GT in May sees the Nissan affiliated Miyake make way for former F1 tester Kimiya Sato.
Sepang hosts the first two 12 60-minute GT World Asia races on April 4-5.
