Harmony reveals three-car GT World Asia entry

Harmony Racing is expanding to a three-car GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS operation this year after upgrading to the new Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo.

The Chinese squad won twice and could have achieved more during an impressive 2025 campaign during which it became a regular front runner.

The familiar names of Adderly Fong and JZ will contest Silver-Am in the 33R Harmony Racing-entered Ferrari after moving across from Phantom Global Racing’s Porsche, but the other two cars feature at least one championship newcomer amongst their ranks.

“I am thrilled to be able to partner up again with my friend JZ in GT World Asia 2026,” said Fong. “This marks a new chapter in my career as I get the opportunity to try a Ferrari 296 GT3 with 33R Harmony Racing. Having tried the car a few times, I think I am starting to understand it more. Lap times in pre-season testing have been looking promising. I will try my best to convert that into race results.”

Deng Yi scored an overall victory for the team at Okayama last year and returns with a new co-driver in the shape of reigning Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am champion and SRO GT Cup podium finisher Liu Kaishun. Their Silver class contender competes under the Winhere Harmony Racing banner.

The same team name applies to Harmony’s Pro-Am line up that comprises Song Jiajun and experienced GT racer Brendon Leitch. Song contested GT World Asia’s Okayama event with Harmony last year but spent the bulk of his season alongside Leitch in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia.

“Last year I got a first taste of GT3 racing with Harmony’s Ferrari at Okayama, and it was truly an unforgettable experience,” said Song. “By entering full season in Pro-Am, I am motivated to sharpen my skills and compete with the best in Asia.”

Leitch added: “I am very excited to be joining Harmony Racing and Song Jaijun for the season in Asia. A massive thank you to JJ for having me along for the ride. JJ and I had a great season last year in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia and this is the logical step for us together. Plus, I can't wait to get my hands on the Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. I have watched Harmony Racing with interest over the past few seasons. They have immaculate cars and great speed.”

The new GT World Asia campaign begins at Sepang on April 4/5.
